Khalida is a qualified therapist, having been awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of East London.
She is experienced in both long and short-term work and has helped clients explore various issues including depression, anxiety, sexuality, relationships, self-esteem, loss and bereavement.
Along with her traditional training, Khalida offers a working knowledge of Asian and Muslim cultures. Being of Bangladeshi descent, she is able to offer sessions not only in English but also two dialects of Bengali: the mainstream language and Sylheti. She works with individuals, including elders and children, couples and families.
