I have been working as a counsellor for the past 10 years. I have a Diploma in Person-Centred Therapy and work in an eclectic way incorporating Psychotherapy and CBT and Transactional Analysis (TA).
I have trained as a Mediator within organisations that work with local council authorities resolving neighbourhood disputes as well as being a Family Therapist and work within collaborative law with respect to resolving issues within divorces. I am a member of The British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and work strictly to their guidelines and code of ethics. (BACP)
In the past I have worked in Educational settings, with offenders, youngsters in Pupil Referral Centres and have also set up complete counselling environments in government run projects for homeless youngsters aged 15 and upwards working with the youngsters to resolve their issues and gain confidence within their independence.
